AXOR PRESENTS THE FIRST MIXER THAT CONSUME ONLY 3,5 LT/M.

The Hansgrohe brand design features innovative technology such as Philippe Starck Axor Starck Organic signed

It’ the first and only mixer in the world consumption of 3.5 l / min (against 7-8 l / m of the fitting classic)
The Axor Starck basin mixer Organic sets the new standard for consumer 3,5 liters per minute thanks to the new diffuser: not a single jet or “broken” by a grid / aerator but a real micro-shower with 90 nozzles capable of giving body and pleasantness even to a minimum flow of water.
Opening the knob stops at 3,5 lt, and only with further rotation arrives at 5 lt/m.
In short: for “waste” more water must really want!

Separate controls flow and temperature
For the first time in a mixer are separate temperature controllers and flow. The knob that controls the heat of the water is in fact placed on “head” of the fitting. An invitation to “use your head” and think about what temperature you want the water before the stream is opened! A thin colored line that slopes from green to orange indicates the position “ecological” which provides for the prevalent use of cold water. Once you set the temperature selection knob can be left in this position for a long time! must not be touched by force at each use and allow-for example- to avoid the unwanted ignition of the boiler… The knob for opening and regulating the flow of water is placed directly over the spout. An entirely innovative, but also intuitive and simple, which allows among other things not to drain the whole body of the mixer in the close!

A design that changes the gestures and ergonomics
The release knob located next to the spout imposes a new gesture, more intuitive in ergonomic terms. The jet is also adjustable so that it can be adapted to the geometry of the different washbasins commercially.

Supply hi-tech with anti-limestone
I 90 Silicone coated nozzles that make up the micro-spray dispensing (the same as a modern shower head Hansgrohe concentrated in 2,4 cm diameter) give rise to a soft “brush” which can be easily rubbed with the thumb to eliminate any residual limestone.

Sustainable production process and technological innovations
The production process of Axor Starck Organic is thought of in terms of minimal environmental impact and each component has seen a reduction of 33% brass. The thinning of the mixing body has also allowed the passage of the flexible conduction water (hot / cold)directly to the mixing cartridge, so that for the first time is eliminated the contact between water and interior of the mixer, prolonging life and preventing any possible contamination by particles of lead or nickel.

A project by Philippe Starck
Axor, design brand Hansgrohe, began his collaboration with Philippe Starck in 1992 with a line mixer spotless, characterized by a lever joystick initially linked to the sign of all starckiano “feather”, still an icon of modern bathroom design.
The new mixer Axor Starck Organic was founded primarily as an afterthought technology delivery (and savings) water: “Not an 'trendy’ detestable especially in the field of bathroom, where, if anything, a mixer or a basin must have as a first characteristic durability” says the French designer “But important work towards a more sustainable technology, it can work anywhere in the world, even where there is little water. A research made possible by the ethics of this company and the people who have made it what it is in the world. Work with Klaus and his son Philippe Grohe for twenty years and they are really grateful for having followed me in my path.
From an aesthetic point of view today, I feel closer to these organic forms and sensual to the geometric lines. I think there is a great need for softness and natural archetypes around, for a better life. In this object, so technologically advanced there is something ancient and timeless, sculptural and sweet as the line of a tree or a human body ..”
