On the occasion of the 13th edition of the Venice Architecture Biennale, and up to 30 September, and some health Kerasan faucet lines will be signed Bonomi Contemporary Italian “show” Earnings at the showroom Design (Salizada San Samuele 3359) a San Marco.

At home, historical reality of the ceramic district of Civita Castellana, Bonomi and Contemporary Italian, brand of fittings from the Brescia 1908, have chosen to support the Italian Pavilion at the International Exhibition of Architecture and for this special occasion they set up in the showroom Earnings Design a bathroom with a few lines of sanitary ware and plumbing: Aquatech of Kerasan basin with monobloc, health on the ground and freestanding bathtub. The collection Aquatech, designed by Massimiliano Cicconi, is characterized by the soft shapes and volumes of the original pottery, that become the real protagonists of the bathroom. La vasca freestanding è invece realizzata in Pietraluce e completata da un ripiano porta-oggetti in teak naturale.

For Bonomi Contemporary and drawn by Sergio Mori line Arco, characterized by a perfect curvature “C” with spout flattened 6 mm, and the line Tube “tube” which becomes fittings / installation; in anteprima anche la nuova linea Bonny per lavabo e bidet.

In early summer 2012 Viterbo in the “EU Sustainable Energy Week” was presented the research project that sees Kerasan-historical company in the ceramic pole of Civita Castellana- impegnata nello studio di soluzioni per la riduzione dell’impatto ambientale dei prodotti e del ciclo di lavorazione.

In the presence of Renata Polverini, President of the Lazio Region- and Professor Marco Mancini-Chancellor of the University of Tuscia- the general manager Roberto Kerasan Banditelli officially announced the investment of 300.000 € in the field of “Reduction in consumption of the production cycle mediated application of sustainable energy systems”.

The funding RESEARCH CO-ERDF 2007-2013 Lazio Region has been bestowed for the development, within two years, of a project by 900.00 € in collaborazione con il CIRDER Centro Interdipartimentale di Ricerca e Diffusione delle Energie Rinnovabili dell’Università degli Studi della Tuscia per l’ottimizzazione del ciclo produttivo e la realizzazione di sanitari a minimo consumo idrico.

“Ceramic companies require large amounts of energy, but we are working to minimize the environmental impact of production” explains Roberto Banditelli “for this in the next few years will be re-thought the entire production cycle”. Together with CIRDER and the Nexus Group of Civita Castellana specializes in the design of industrial plants- Kerasan studying technologies that increase production efficiency, ottimizzino il consumo energetico e riducano gli scarti.

The soft shapes and volumes of the original collection of Aquatech Kerasan are accentuated in the tub, disegnata da Massimiliano Cicconi per la storica azienda di Civita Castellana.
Result of research not only aesthetic, the tub Aquatech (170×70 cm) has one end wider than the other and high, a solution that follows the shape of the body, creating a welcoming and offers comfortable support. Un ripiano in Teak naturale si appoggia sul lato più stretto e funge da pratico porta-oggetti.

In one version the freestanding bathtub is made of Pietraluce, a special compound of hydrated alumina, titanium dioxide and polyester resin. The resin layer provides shine and features anticalcaree. Scratches or stains can be removed with a simple polishing paste.

On its glossy white, the Pietraluce is a suitable material to be used alongside ceramic sanitary fixtures.

Aquatech, in fact, also includes health ground and suspended, lavabo sospeso, monolitico e freestanding in ceramica.
